IPK Classes

Report grouping classes are used internally for reporting purposes to identify whether a call logged is an Incident, a Problem, a Known Error or a Service Request. These grouping classes are defined in vFire Core. You cannot add or delete report grouping classes; you can only rename them.

Renaming an IPK Report Grouping Class

Before you start

Ensure you are in the correct partition before applying the settings.

You must have IPK Setup selected in the Admin tab of your General Access Security Role.

  1. Select the Menu button , then Admin, and then select System Administration. The System Administration window is displayed, with a menu of options available . In the Explorer pane, locate the IPK Management group , scrolling up or down if necessary. You may need to expand the group to see the options.

  2. Select IPK Classes to open the window. The report groupings are displayed, although you may find that one or more of yours have already been renamed .
  3. Highlight the entry that you want to rename.
  4. Type the name you want to assign for the selected report grouping class.
  5. Select to save the changes. Provide the Change Reasons if prompted to do so.
